Elixir blends the rich texture and rhythmic excitement of a full horn section with driving fiddle, swinging guitar and superb calling for a uniquely energizing dance combination.

Ethan (fiddle) • Anna (clarinet) • Roger Kahle (guitar/feet)
Chuck Corman (bass/dumbek/piano/guitar)

Beeswax Sheepskin plays Irish, French Canadian, Southern and original tunes with creative, compelling grooves from the powerful rhythm section supporting tight tune playing, improvisation and rich harmony from the fiddle and clarinet.

The Figments

The Figments incorporate an eclectic mix of styles into their inspired performances of music for dancing or listening. Whether grooving on an Old-time, Irish or French Canadian fiddle tune, trading daring improvisations on a gypsy jazz or swing number, or exploring the nuances of a graceful waltz or elegant English country dance tune, this trio of versatile musicians makes dynamic, spontaneous and electrifying music.

Firetruck
Ethan (fiddle) • Anna Patton (clarinet) • Seth Houston (piano/guitar)

The Firetruck melodic duo specializes in tight unisons, creative harmony and rich rhythmic accompaniments, while Seth's piano and guitar backup blends traditional styles with elements of funk, pop, blues and swing. Altogether Firetruck makes dance music that's fresh and fiery, and we have a great time doing it.

Step Lightly
Ethan (violin) • Anna (clarinet) • Joyce Crouch (piano)

The members of Step Lightly perform together regularly as a part of the Monday night English dance series at the Munson Library, as well as appearing at other English events throughout New England. The trio plays eminently danceable English music, drawing on its individual members' diverse musical experiences to perform English tunes with gusto, creativity, elegance and flair.

Peter Siegel

Every so often award-winning singer-songwriter and mandolin / banjo / guitarist extraordinaire Peter Siegel calls me up to join his radical space-age vaudeville act along with Ellen Clegg on percussion. We play songs, we play tunes, we crack jokes. Its a grand old time. Peter is not to be missed, wherever he appears...
