Ethan's debut album In the Window contains a selection of traditional and original tunes, including several of Ethan's own compositions, arranged to highlight the diverse musical ideas that grow out of the New England contra dance tradition.

In the Window moves gracefully between high energy jigs and reels, contemplative airs, and lovely waltzes, flirting with musical ideas drawn from Contra and English dance, Irish, French Canadian, Swing, Dixieland, Old time, Scandinavian and Classical styles.
